Dr. Leslie Valon-Szots

Biography

Dr Valon-Szots is a chartered clinical psychologist and registered practitioner psychologist with the HCPC. She has worked within NHS mental health services since 2008, including forensic services, adult mental health services, child and adolescents’ services and specialist family services. Dr Valon-Szots manages a psychology team and supervised psychologists and offers consultation to professionals, services and teams.

Dr Valon-Szots has spent at least the last seven years working with her Local Authority service frequently working with and assessing patients who roughly more than 50% of them are on the neurodiversity spectrum displaying traits of both ADHD and ASD. She is experienced and familiar with various screening tools and continuously keeps up to date with research and relevant CPD points. In addition, she has provided a number of reports for the family court in particular assessing neurodiverse individuals. Dr Valon-Szots has a particular interest in ADHD and Autism in women and masking.
