Diagnosis
This is a fantastic multi-disciplinary package for anyone wanting a comprehensive evaluation unlike any other. Our unique multi-disciplinary approach is designed to save you time and money in the long term by encompassing an assessment by both a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist. Why is this approach so beneficial to you?
We will first arrange for you to meet with one of our specialist Psychologists. Psychologists are mental health professionals who study and analyse human behaviour, emotions, and processes. A psychologist will thoroughly analyse all these aspects to formulate the most effective long term treatment plan for you that could help you manage and control behaviours and equip you with skills and tools to make your life easier.
We then arrange for you to meet one of our highly experienced, specialist Psychiatrists. Psychiatrists are medically trained, able to diagnose, manage and treat conditions by prescribing and managing medication. This means that after conducting a full clinical assessment with you, they provide a diagnosis, medication recommendations and a monitoring and evaluation plan to ensure you are helped as quickly and efficiently as possible and for as long as is needed. Not only will this diagnostic process include ADHD, but they will flag any associated issues that may exist aside ADHD, or even exacerbate it. Your support package will include advice on how and where to get help for any other factors that may need to be considered, known as co-morbid conditions.

Introducing the QbTest, a state-of-the-art tool for assessing ADHD symptoms. Think of it as a smart device that provides detailed insights into some of the key symptoms of ADHD. This innovative test uses cutting-edge technology to measure concentration, movement, and impulsivity – key behaviours associated with ADHD.
But here’s the best part: taking the QbTest is simple and fast. In just 15-20 minutes, you’ll sit comfortably in front of a screen, holding a responder with a click button. A soft headband with a reflective ball is placed on your head, and behind the screen is a tracking camera – don’t worry, it only records the movement of the reflective ball, not your face or surroundings. Click here for more information.
During the test, images will appear on the screen, and you’ll click whenever they pop up. There are no right or wrong answers, and no scoring involved. Once you have finished, a comprehensive report is generated instantly. You can see examples of what a report looks like by clicking here.
Not only is this cutting-edge technology useful as part of an initial assessment, helping your specialist understand the severity of symptoms; but if you are diagnosed with ADHD and choose to proceed with medication, it is an invaluable tool for gaining instant insight into medication effectiveness.
How? Finding the right dosage can be a lengthy and subjective process, where a trial-and-error approach is unavoidable. However, a visual report from a QbTest, based on actual data means less time spent trialling and waiting, and more time spent on targeted and effective treatment. If you have a QbTest at assessment, and a further test during the titration period, you can visually compare changes and improvements, which in some cases can reduce the titration period from 3-4 weeks.
So, for reassurance, time-saving benefits and peace of mind, this is an incredibly worthwhile option.

*Shared care agreements
A Shared Care agreement is a formal agreement that allows your GP to take over the responsibility of the safe prescribing and monitoring of specialist medicines, such as those used for ADHD.
